LES ADULTES ONT DISPARU. Dans le monde entier, un virus mortel les a tous décimés. Seuls les enfants ont mystérieusement échappé à cette tragédie.Après le choc, Margot, Skye et Karim, qui habitent des appartements voisins, décident d'unir leurs forces dans l'espoir de survivre aux conséquences de la pandémie.Dans ce nouveau quotidien où toute figure d'autorité a disparu, l'équilibre est précaire et constamment menacé. Des jeunes sans scrupule veulent aussi faire la loi. Parmi eux, la bande de Vincent contrôle d'une main de fer l'accès à la nourriture et étend son emprise sur le quartier.Lorsque la fiction rejoint la réalité, les choix et les repères habituels sont à réévaluer... Quel chemin prendre? Qui suivre et qui croire? Et surtout, comment éviter les pièges ou la chute? Des questions auxquelles ces adolescents sont confrontés, et ce, parfois au péril de leur vie.

Then at the end provide their hypothesis about who is the murderer
Students can clarify understanding, discuss together, etc. about the novel

Final task: make a blog and convince other students to read the book (convince other groups who didn’t read the book)
Final task: Make an escape room game for the other students (they play against the other group that read the book) AIM: See if they can ‘escape’ based on their knowledge of the book. Gamification of the reading.
